Step 1: Spray paint

Paint your terracotta pot both inside and out. Then set the whole affair aside to dry.

Step ii: Washi tape and wrapping

Take your wider washi tape and cut a strip that will fit the base of the pot (vertically). Then adhere that piece of tape to the side of the pot and fold the extra record over the lesser edge. Continue repeating this procedure until the base of your pot is completely covered.

Step iii: Thinner washi record

Now accept your thinner washi tape and cut a piece that will fit the rim of the pot. Then adhere that slice of tape to the rim of the pot.
